NLCBS' answer to travel ball; Union Baseball/ Softball, the not-so-club, club-team. Focusing on skill development with a heavy emphasis on learning the game and prepping for the next level.

Both Fall and Spring/Summer play is avaialable.

Union will host tryouts for both this Fall and next Spring on August 11th & 12th.

Softball tryouts will be on Monday August 11th; 6:30pm-8pm.

Baseball tryouts will be on Tuesday August 12th; 6:30pm-8pm.

Both tryouts will be at Penn Meadows park. Registration required, sign up at www.nlcbs.org

Ages vary. We are  are only limited by the number of secured coaches.

Spring Participation

Players compete in 3-4 local tourneys; Iowa City, Tiffin and right here in North Liberty. The total cost for everything (tourneys, practices, uniforms... everything) last year was only around $350 and we offered fundraising opportunities to help cover that cost!

Teams will practice on Fridays and compete on select weekends. NLCBS participation is requiredin the Spring but will not overlap.

Union Fall Softball will practice once per week. Fall participation will focus on development and skill building.

Fees will vary but usually are around $150 for the fall and $350 for summer.

Fees will vary but usually are around $150 for the fall and $350 for summer.

We are seeking to grow this initiative, we're limited only by the number of coaches willing to take on a team. If you are interested in coaching a Union team please contact operations@nlcbs.org.
