Tee ball is primarily for 4 and 5 years old. Parents can self-assess their player to determine if preschool or kindergarten tee ball is appropriate.

Two 5-week seasons of tee ball are offered for this age group, players may enroll in one or both. Each season is priced individually and players must enroll in each season they would like to play.

Teams will meet 8 times over 5 weeks; practicing for the first 30 minutes and playing modified games for the last 30 minutes. Sessions will meet on Tuesdays or Thursdays or Fridays

Season #1: Week of April 10th- Week of May 8th
Season #2: Week of May 15th- Week of June 12th

Preschool Tee Ball (Beginner): the most basic of the game. Players will learn making contact, throwing and fielding. There will be no coach-pitch at this level, all batted balls will be off a tee.

Kindergarten Tee Ball (Advanced): Building on skills learned in Preschool, players will continue to grow and develop in a fun and educational environment. There will be no coach-pitch at this level, all batted balls will be off a tee.

First Grade Softball/ Baseball ($80 for 8 weeks) is primarily for those entering 1st grade next year. In this league players will learn more fundamentals of the game including hitting from a coach-pitched ball. Players will expand their defensive skill base, hitting fundamentals and team play.

Games will be played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays at Penn Meadows Park.

Registration fees cover sessions running from the week of April 10th- week of June 12th, allowing time for rain out make ups and/or additional practices (based upon field availability and coach’s schedule). Meeting times are generally 5:30pm.

Week of April 24th- Week of May 22nd: games begin

Week of May 29th- Mid-Season Break (1 week break)

Week of June 5th- Week of June 12th: games continued

Rookie Softball/ Baseball ($80) is for those entering 2nd and 3rd grade for the next school year. Third graders will be allowed to pitch during the last four weeks of the season.

Week of May 29th- Mid-Season Break (1 week break)

Week of June 5th- Week of June 12th: games continued

Junior Baseball/ Softball($92) is primarily for 4th and 5th graders. Players will be introduced to a higher level of play. Rules are set up to allow for more realistic play while still allowing for an instructional game.

Week of April 3rd- Week of April 17th: practice only

Week of April 24th- Week of May 22nd: games begin

Week of May 29th- Mid-Season Break (1 week break)

Week of June 5th- Week of June 12th: games continued

Senior Softball/ Baseball ($92) is primarily for advanced 5th graders and 6th & 7th graders of the next school year.  Players are allowed to pitch two innings per game.  No player shall sit out more than 2 innings per game except in case of injury.  In addition to scheduled games, senior teams participate in the NLCBS tournament at the end of the season.

Players that are 13 years of age or in 8th grade are encouraged to move to the High School Division where the level play and commitment are elevated.  Players that need more experience are able to stay in the Senior Division if desired.

Prep Baseball is for high school aged players. This league is designed to prep players for high school level baseball in a fun and relaxed environment. Players will work hard but also enjoy playing baseball.

$112- Individual Player Registration: includes cap and jersey
$750- Formed Team Registration: includes all fees (umpires, scheduling, practice time, insurance) Teams must provide equipment and uniforms.

Multiple fields in the area may be used including; North Liberty, Tiffin, Solon and Iowa City (Mercer Park). Teams may also travel to Fairfax, Marion and Cedar Rapids.
